in being part of how the church responds positively to the impact of Covid-19
If you are then you
may be just the right person to be our Community Pioneer.
This post seeks to
build on the past and present and find new ways of being church which encourage
the engagement of our wider community. The role
is will be for up to 30 hours part-time with a £19,100 starting salary
(pro-rata if post agreed as less than 30 hours).
We are looking for
someone …
·
to bring a creative
and pioneering approach.
·
to bring strategic
thinking to this area of church life, as well as being a hands-on practitioner.
·
who is able to see and
appreciate what those who already volunteer are providing, but able to see what
would break new ground and develop new approaches that also respond well to the
impact of Covid-19.
·
who does not feel they
have to do it all, but will also encourage and inspire others to get involved
and use/develop their gifts.
·
to make this role
their own and have the freedom to be creative.
The deadline for
applications is Friday 29th
May 2020.
The role will have
support from the Lead Minister and the Responsible Elder. This role will be key
in taking the church forward at these times as we live out the Christian life
in a relevant manner within our local community.
